Experience

Dealer.com Senior User Interface Developer

March 2013 - November 2015

In the first year and a half I worked at Dealer.com, I formed a small team that developed tooling and advocated best practices for front-end developers working on our customer facing management system. I was the primary developer for our Bootstrap-based UI framework and style guide, and I designed and wrote the framework integration for an asset management and deployment system designed for performance and cacheability.

Since July 2014, I've worked on the framework team for the Dealer.com Website Platform, focused on product performance and developer productivity. Since I joined the team, we've adopted Libsass to replace Ruby Sass (including our implementation of Sass's @extend in Libsass) and introduced builds on a continuous integration server to get longstanding compiled CSS and JavaScript out of version control.

Bearded Principal, Developer

November 2008 - December 2012

I helped manage the day-to-day operations of this small but growing web shop. I was instrumental in business development, project management and building client relationships. I headed the development side of the business, overseeing all aspects of strategy and implementation.
